Introducing our NRC captains! As our crew and event calendar grows, so does our leadership team. These faces have helped make NRC what it is today. Whether it's your first time or you've been running with us since the jump, our captains are here to guide you, support you, and cheer you on every step of the way.
MAGGIE O’FERRALL
Hi! My name is Maggie and I moved to Neptune Beach a year ago with my husband Bryan and pup George. I started running last June when I decided to go to a happy hour run club event! Then after the run I met Keri and she convinced me to sign up for the Donna marathon and the rest is history!!
WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK TO NRC?
The people!!! Moving to a new state knowing no one was hard but after attending a few runs everyone was so friendly… I knew I’d found my people/new favorite hobby.
BEST PIECE OF ADVICE FOR A NEW RUNNER?
Don’t worry about pace! It can be scary running for your first time with a group of people but just know we are all there to hang out, meet people and have a good time!

Hey, I’m Marc! I’m a CVOR nurse & graduate student. I love anything outdoors & live music! Ive always played sports but really started running journey last summer to prove to myself I can do hard things!

The camaraderie! Running is hard, but there’s something about doing it with a community of people that makes it so much easier. I’ve met some of my closest friends at run club & continue to make new friends every week!

We believe in people over paces — so whether you’re a casual walker or a competitive athlete, come on out! This is an ever growing community and we’d be thrilled to have you!
